In October 2017, Bloomberg published an article claiming that artificial intelligence is likely to be the “most disruptive force in technology in the coming decade” and warning that firms that are slow to embrace the technology may risk extinction.

Now in society, we are living in a world of machines. We depend on machines for every field of our life. Everything around us is an application of artificial intelligence. Air conditioners, cameras, video games, medical equipment, were traffic lights, refrigerators, etc work on “smart” technology. Artificial Intelligence is a branch of computer science that works to create a computer system capable to react like a human being. That is to make machines capable of sensing the world around them, to understand conversations, and to take decisions like a human.

AI also involves the use of statistics and probability and various other mathematical tools (neural networks and machine learning is mostly based on these).

A business heavily relies on real-time reporting, accuracy, and processing of large volumes of quantitative data to make crucial decisions. With this efficiency and effectiveness of a business, it is quickly able to implement machine learning.

AI is to be the future for the banking and finance industry as it powers up analytics to fight against fraudulent transactions. Nomura Securities, a Japanese financial holding company have started using AI to help analyze the insights of the experienced stock trading.

Marketing is also a very important major factor in business. AI could easily automate all these tasks for you. In 2019 study says, 40 percent of the marketing and sales team are explicitly using data science and AI in their business leading the department toward the pinnacle of success.

Like humans, self-driving cars need to have sensors to understand the world around them and a brain to collect, process, and choose specific actions based on information gathered.

Natural language interfaces and virtual assistance technologies.

It automates grading giving educators more time. It can also assess students and adapt to their needs, helping them work at their own pace. Though it can never replace human work, it is pretty close to it. So, with the automated grading system checking multiple choice questions, fill in the blank, testing and automated grading of students can be done in a jiffy.

7. Artificial Intelligence in Tourism.

AI is very convenient for tourism you might have also booked a flight ticket in advance or have waited just before the departure date to find cheaper tickets. Everyone does that, but the struggle is minimized with AI. The price trend is analyzed based on the recorded data on each route. So, you get notifications of when to book your flight. Book it at the right time and the right price and say thanks to artificial intelligence.


The days are not too far when your refrigerator might know more about your diet and suggest you the best food to eat. The evolution of AI and machine learning technologies has seen an exponential rise in the last decade. With the open-source information and artificial intelligence, opportunities across the globe are present and services. Space exploration, microbiological research, archaeological advancements, and much more have become much easier tasks than they were 10 years ago due to AI and the scope will only grow with time, with Virtual Reality (VR), training simulations, intuitive chat bots, and exploration technologies already paving the way for the future with the help of AI.
